What you need to know
You must have a South Carolina Marriage License.
The cost varies between $50.00 and $100.00
There is a 24 hour waiting period after you apply
A government issued ID is required (like driver's license) plus a social security card.
Remember the courthouse is closed on holidays and weekends.
No blood test, no divorce decrees, nor witnesses are needed.
The license can be obtained from any County Probate Court office in South Carolina.
